The village of Sikles, perched at 2,000 meters, is a highlight of the trek, famous for its well-maintained rustic charm and vibrant Gurung culture. Trekkers traverse rolling hills, terraced farmlands, rhododendron forests, and serene river valleys, all while enjoying views of the Annapurna, Manaslu, Fishtail, and Lamjung ranges. The trek allows time to explore local lifestyles, traditional architecture, and cultural landmarks, making it ideal for those who enjoy a combination of nature, culture, and moderate trekking.

Itinerary Summary:

·        Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu to Ghalekhara, start trek towards Kharpani.

·        Day 2: Trek from Kharpani to Ghale Kharka through terraced fields and small streams.

·        Day 3: Trek from Ghale Kharka to Nyauli Kharka, passing through lush forests and small villages.

·        Day 4: Trek from Nyauli Kharka to Parche/Sikles village, explore local Gurung culture.

·        Day 5: Explore Sikles village, visit traditional houses, interact with locals, and enjoy mountain views.

·        Day 6: Trek from Sikles to Chansu or Yangjakot, descend through forests and farmland.

·        Day 7: Trek from Chansu/Yangjakot to Kalikasthan, enjoy panoramic vistas of Annapurna and Lamjung ranges.

·        Day 8: Drive back to Kathmandu for final departure.

Trekking Support & Gear:

·        Experienced, English-speaking trekking guide and porter (1 porter per 2 trekkers).

·        Basic trekking gear (duffel bag, sleeping bag, and down jacket) provided if needed.

·        Porters carry 25–30 kg per pair of trekkers.

·        Daypack recommended for water, snacks, camera, sun protection, and personal items.

Best Season to Trek:

·        Spring (March–May): Blooming rhododendrons, moderate temperatures, clear skies.

·        Autumn (September–November): Crisp air, clear mountain views, stable weather.
