The Unique Nepal Difference

Why travellers book with us

We are a small Kathmandu team of guides and trip planners. You talk to the people who will actually look after you on the trail.

  • Local licensed guides

Every guide is from the mountains and holds a government licence.

  • Guides who speak Spanish

Trek with a Nepali guide who explains everything in your language.

  • Guaranteed from 2 people

Group departures run with just two travellers, on the dates you choose.

  • Altitude safety first

Acclimatisation days, daily oximeter checks and a rescue plan on every trek.

  • Small groups

A maximum of 12 trekkers, and fewer on passes and peaks.

  • Fair to our team

Porters and guides are insured, fairly paid and never overloaded.

Questions before you go

Quick answers to what travellers ask us most. Can’t find yours? Ask a local planner directly.

Still deciding?

Send us a message and a trek planner will reply within 24 hours.

How fit do I need to be?
If you can walk 5–6 hours on hills with a light daypack, you can do most of our treks. Train for 2–3 months with long walks, stairs or cycling.
What about altitude sickness?
Our itineraries include acclimatisation days and a slow ascent. Guides check your oxygen level daily with an oximeter and will descend with you if needed.
Which permits do I need, and are they included?
Each region needs a national park or conservation area permit, and some a TIMS card or restricted area permit. All required permits are included in our price.
Can I charge my phone, and is there Wi-Fi?
Most teahouses offer charging and Wi-Fi for a small fee, usually USD 2–5. Signal gets weaker higher up, so bring a power bank.
Can I change the dates or go privately?
Yes. Every trek can run privately on the dates you choose, from 1 traveller. Group departures are guaranteed from 2 people.
How do I pay, and what's the cancellation policy?
We take a deposit to confirm your trip, and the balance is paid before departure or on arrival in Kathmandu. Cancellation charges depend on how close to departure you cancel; we send the full conditions with your quote.
