Stand on top of the world by the South Col route from Nepal
Overview
The South Col route on the highest mountain on Earth. Most of the climb is on fixed ropes, but the altitude, cold and length make it the hardest commitment in mountaineering for most people.
Fly to Lukla and trek through Namche, Tengboche, Dingboche and Lobuche to Everest Base Camp at 5,364 m. Climb the Khumbu Icefall to Camp 1 (6,065 m) and Camp 2 (6,400 m), up the Lhotse Face to Camp 3 (7,200 m) and the South Col (7,950 m), then the South-East Ridge and Hillary Step to the summit. Trek out to Lukla.
Climbers with at least one 8,000 m summit or a strong 7,000 m record, who can spend two months away and handle extreme cold.
Why book with us: A 1:1 climbing Sherpa, supplemental oxygen, a Spanish-speaking guide on the approach, and a gradual trek-in for acclimatisation.
Remote, very high terrain. For fit and experienced trekkers.
