Overview

A journey through the Himalayas

A loop that pairs Kathmandu’s temples with Lhasa’s monasteries and the north face of Everest, without any trekking.

Two days in the Kathmandu Valley while we get your Chinese group visa, then fly to Lhasa. After two days in Lhasa, drive via Yamdrok Lake, Gyantse and Shigatse to Rongbuk and the Everest viewpoint, then overland via Kerung back to Kathmandu.

Culture lovers in good health with about two weeks. Walking is light, but nights reach 4,980 m and some road days are long.

Why book with us: Our Kathmandu team handles visa, permits and both sides of the border, with a Spanish-speaking guide in Nepal and a Spanish-speaking tour leader in Tibet on request.

Difficulty & fitness Moderate

5 to 7 hours a day with some steep sections. Suits active beginners.
